St. George Oncology Interest Group

Whether you’re interested in oncology already or want to learn more about it, the St. George Oncology Society at USC provides a number of opportunities for students. Some of the exciting events and services you can look forward to include:

• Lunch panel talks - Enjoy lunch on us and hear from USC Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, and Pediatric Oncologists on a variety of topics, and get to ask some questions of your own too.

• Dinner talks - Enjoy intimate small group dinners at the USC Faculty Club with pioneering USC oncologists.

• Norris Cancer Center Grand Rounds- Come to a grand rounds talk to learn about what’s going on in oncology today and meet some of excellent panelists and physicians at Norris.

• LAC +USC and Norris Tumor Boards- Observe the collaboration of a variety of oncology specialities as they debate current cases and their management.

• Medical Student Research and Shadowing Program - Whether you’re looking for research opportunities for an RSP, a mentor, or some shadowing experience we can help get you started.

• Community Outreach- Join us as we engage with patients and survivors in during support meetings and charity events.
